A Perfect Day

Sharing is caring!

I’m a big list maker. There’s something about it that is so satisfying! I make lists all the time, whether it’s a to-do list, a goals list, or in this case, a list about my day.

I think it’s important to take a look at your routine every once in a while. Pick out things you always do that you hate and figure out how to make them better! Look at what you do every day that is something that makes you happy or you look forward to. Try and do more of the things that bring you joy and less of the things that don’t.

Of course in a world of responsibilities, it may be difficult to just “not do dishes” for example. Or work, studying etc. I challenge you to shift the way they are approached, in order to make them less negative. Picture cleaning as a symbol for decluttering your mind and practice mindfulness while you do it. Pair unavoidable negative activities with opportunities to work on other skills like breathing or mindfulness.

On days I don’t have any responsibilities, they seem to fly by me and I don’t make the most of it. The list below is how I would spend a day of it was solely for myself.
